Bio

I'm Joseph Boettcher I generally get called Joe. I am a degreed Metallurgical engineer that is very hands on and I love lots of projects, designing things, building and fixing things. I can do just about anything with metal working but I also dabble in wood work. I also enjoy gunsmithing, machining, heat treatment, working on cars, cooking, casting, gardening and construction/remodeling with my father. 
I work full time as a metallurgical and plant/process engineer in a forging plant. I also have a side business with my friend Garrett Tamerius who runs Valley Tech Fabrication. He runs the business and fabricates off road bumpers, their accessories and rock sliders for 100 series Landcruisers. I help design and source the parts for the bumpers or accessories. I have made the products much easier to manufacture and more durable.
